The Macrosette Tissue Processing & Embedding Cassettes are disposable plastic cassettes specially designed to hold larger tissue specimens during the tissue processing and embedding procedure, as well as easily fit into a standard cassette storage cabinet. The hinged lid comes attached and can be opened and closed as often as necessary, relocking securely without danger of specimen loss. There are large labeling areas on three sides of the cassette. EM-400 embedding medium paraffin is a purified paraffin blend with synthetic polymers formulated for histology tissue embedding and routine microtomy. There are three textured surfaces that can be written on to offer users easy identification and organization. The cassette are able to work with solvents and decalcifying solutions. This measures 30 mm x 24 mm x 11 mm.
